I am going to hold a story competition. I love to hear what people see and think about my pic, mostly what they think is going on, so I'm holding a story competition were you write about one of my pics. [link]

Rules

The story is about what's happening/going to happen in this pic [link]

You may make up names and age for the characters as long as it's clear which one is which. (You can write in the description about names and age if it's relevant)

Any genre on the story is allowed. (Fantasy, SF and so on)

There's no need to write a long story, a few sentences is enough if you think so. Please don't write any more than two A4 papers, size 12. (The letter size is not relevant it's just for you to know how much I mean).

Illustrations are allowed but won't be judged.

Use your fantasy! Anything can happen and this story is not nessesarily a love story!

Judging
I will be judging, unless I feel a need for help and then I'll first of all ask my friend, unless she's going to enter this competition.
I won't judge too much on misspelling and grammar unless it disturbs the story. Small misspellings like "too" instead of "to" is a small disturbance while "rode" instead of "road" is two entierly different words.
I will be judging mostly on the story as a whole and how it's built up, if I find it interesting and how good it captures the reader.

Prize
Now why would you want to go through all this trouble?
I realise that a competition without a prize is like candy without the sweetness, pointless.

Therefore I will draw a pic for the winner. The winner will get to decide what it should be... but I'm sorry I can't draw animals, unless you want one that looks like this [link]
Anyway I will colour it if the winner wants it or leave it as a lineart for the winner to colour... yeah simply the winner will have much to say in this pic.
More about this prize later.

The winner, the second and third will all get one month of feature in my journal.
If you're already featured in my journal you'll be featured twice.

Entering deadline will be untill more people enter.
The competition deadline will be posted when I find out how many acctually entered.

Send me a note subject "Competition entering". Write that you want to enter, I'll send you an answere so you know that I've seen it.

Finished
When you're finished and have posted your story, send me a note and a link to the story.

One last thing!!
Do not be in haste while writing. Use spell check and read it through once, at least, before you deside to submit it. That is the easiest way to find and correct errors big as small!
